Passport Recommendations

Renewing or applying for a passport can be the most frustrating part of planning your trip due to the back up in processing time.

If you do not have a passport, apply for one now before you decide to travel outside the US. You never know when you will get an invitation to go to a destination wedding, travel the Caribbean with friends, and just decide to take advantage of a last minute great travel deal.
It may take more than 3 months to get it processed.  For about $60, a passport is good for 10 years.  It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and scramble to get one.

If you have a passport, check the expiration date.  If it is expiring within a year, renew now.  When traveling abroad, it is required to have 6 months left on your passport to travel.  For example, should you decide to take a Holiday trip and your passport expires in February, you will have to renew before traveling.  Apply or renew now and be ready to see the world.
